Criteria for WTO accreditation of media for Ministerial Conferences |

The Information and External Relations Division (IERD) must be satisfied that
the individuals applying for accreditation are bona fide media
professionals and represent bona fide media organizations. While in the
WTO or attending WTO events, such as Ministerial Conferences, those with
media accreditation are expected to carry out activities compatible with
journalistic work. Accreditation will only be given on proof of a track
record of reporting for media organizations on trade related matters.
Media
accreditation is not accorded to the information outlets of
non-governmental organizations. Applications are considered on a
case-by-case basis and the decisions of IERD are final. IERD reserves the
right to deny or withdraw accreditation of journalists who abuse the
privileges so extended or who put the accreditation to improper use. Proof to be submitted:
