The WTO General Council today (8 February) noted the consensus on the following slate of names of chairpersons for WTO bodies:

The General Council also noted that the Chairmanship for the Council on TRIPS will be appointed pending further consultations and taking into account the overall balance of the remaining Chairmanships to be appointed by the Council for Trade in Goods for its Subsidiary Bodies.
