Dispute settlement under the Government Procurement Agreement

There have been three disputes between Parties under the GPA. These have been initiated under Article XXII of the GPA, which sets out specific, government-procurement-related provisions on consultations and dispute settlement. Except as specified in those provisions, the Understanding on Rules and Procedures Governing the Settlement of Disputes (the ‘Dispute Settlement Understanding’) also applies.
