He is a member of the Senegalese Academy of Sciences and Technology and the founder and the President of the Board of the Manobi Development Foundation. Through these two organizations, Daniel Annerose develops local projects to alleviate global poverty and diseases, empowering women and supporting the rights of children through mobile technologies and community-led service provision.

He is experienced in information and communication technology (ICT), and agricultural and agro-industrial development. He was a plant scientist for 18 years, specializing in the improvement of agricultural production in arid and semi-arid areas, and in the development of models to predict yields and production. During these years, he mainly worked in development aid as a researcher and agricultural developer in African, European and South American countries.
