IMF/World Bank/WTO Trade Workshop
The second IMF/WB/WTO joint trade workshop was held at the WTO headquarters in Geneva on June 5-6, 2013. The workshop brings together trade experts from the three institutions to present on-going research projects, discuss current policy issues and identify areas of future collaboration.
The themes of the second IMF/WB/WTO trade workshop were:
(i) trade, diversification and policy;
(ii) trade research in international organizations;
(iii) trade, policy and shocks; and
(iv) global value chains.
Christine Lagarde (Managing Director, IMF) and Pascal Lamy (Director General, WTO) addressed conference participants.
