WTO and CPA publish new trade booklet for MPs

The WTO and Commonwealth Parliamentary Association have published a new booklet on the multilateral trading system, based on regional workshops for African and Caribbean Parliamentarians held in Cape Town and Port-of-Spain in 2003.

The two regional initiatives jointly organized by the WTO and Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) were:

• CPA/WTO Regional Workshop for African Parliamentarians in Cape Town, South Africa on 19–22 May 2003, bringing together more than 30 parliamentarians from 14 English-speaking African countries.
    
• CPA/WTO Regional Workshop for Caribbean Parliamentarians in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, on 28–30 July, involving 28 parliamentarians from 8 WTO member countries and 4 countries that are not WTO members.
