The course explains how the accession process functions through an interactive platform with audio and animations. The programme is divided into three modules (“How to become a Member of the WTO?”, “Negotiations on goods and services”, and “Overview of commitments undertaken by recently acceded Members”). Hyperlinks and support documents allow participants to go into greater detail if wished. Participants can also test what they have learnt through quizzes.

A French and Spanish version of the course will be made available in the coming months.

The public in general is invited to participate in this course by accessing the eTraining website and by clicking on the “Self-Training” button.
