The public viewing will take place via simultaneous
closed-circuit television broadcast to a separate viewing room at the WTO
Headquarters in Geneva. The Panel meeting with the experts and the parties is
expected to start at 10.00 and to finish at 18.00 on Tuesday, 30 June. It may
continue in the morning of 1 July, if necessary. The second substantive meeting
will start at 3 p.m. on 1 July, and will continue on 2 July, as necessary. The
meetings will be held in English only.
Registration for public viewing of the meetings is required only for
individuals who do not possess valid WTO badges. WTO delegates and
Secretariat staff holding valid WTO badges do not need to register.

Applications will be accepted until Thursday, 25 June 2009. Those who
have successfully registered will be informed by a confirmation email by 26 June
2009. They will need to present a valid identification document (passport,
driver's licence) on-site to obtain a special event badge to access the viewing
room. Only those with a special event badge or a valid WTO badge will be
admitted to the viewing room.
Please note that no audio/video recording or photography will be permitted in
the viewing room. As a courtesy to other participants, mobile phones should be
switched off during the public viewing.
The Panel reserves the right to call for a closed confidential session of any of
the meetings, if necessary, in order to address issues related to any
confidential information. The Panel also reserves the right to suspend the open
hearings at any time, on its own initiative or at the request of either party,
if there is any risk of breach of confidentiality or of disruption of the
meetings. If the open hearings are suspended by the Panel for any reason, the
Panel may decide to resume the meetings in a closed confidential session.
The WTO cannot offer any support, including financial, for accommodation, flight
arrangements and visas.
