On another item, China submitted a report on its intentions in respect of implementation of the recommendations and rulings on the dispute “China — Countervailing and Anti-Dumping Duties on Grain Oriented Flat-Rolled Electrical Steel from the United States”.
China said it has the intention to implement the recommendations and rulings of the DSB in a manner that respects its WTO obligations. China asked for a reasonable period of time and said it was ready to discuss this matter with the US delegation.
The US hoped for a prompt implementation and said it was ready to discuss a reasonable period of time with China on the implementation of the recommendations and rulings.
The next regular meeting of the DSB is scheduled for 17 December 2012.
