This agreement specifies the rights and obligations of the various parties involved in the ownership, maintenance and operation of the infrastructure of the WTO Headquarters in Geneva, namely the Organization, the Swiss Confederation, the Republic and Canton of Geneva, and the FIPOI (Building Foundation for International Organisations). This agreement replaces the one in force since 1995.

On this occasion, the Director-General warmly thanked the authorities of the host country and the Canton and City of Geneva for the support they had provided since 2005, throughout the process of renovation, modernization and extension of the Organization’s buildings.
