Order Online

Making a purchase online could not be easier. Just search or browse the categories of our online bookshop and select the items that you wish to purchase by simply clicking on the shopping cart icon or “add to caddie” link. When your selection is completed, click on the “Order” link and you will be asked for additional information that we need to fulfil your request.

If you have not yet opened an account you will be instructed to register as a new customer after you have entered your e-mail address when you either select “Login” from the top menu bar or if you select “View Basket”. You only have to register once to be able to login during future visits with your personal password and username. A separate account is necessary for each e-mail address.

Prices and Discounts

All prices are quoted in Swiss Francs and prices are subject to change without notice. Shipping and handling fee are added to each order. In the case of online orders, the total amount due is displayed before the credit card transaction; no extra costs are to be charged.

Discounts are available to wholesalers, retailers and agents as well as academics. Please contact the Publications Sales Department for more information.

The World Trade Organization is an international organization established under the Uruguay Round Agreements, which took effect on 1 January, 1995. The WTO is accorded the privileges and immunities attributed to organizations created under the UN Charter of 1947. This includes exemption from all taxes, including sales tax (VAT) and customs duties, for publications sold in Switzerland and all other countries.

Shipping and Handling

For delivery within Switzerland:

Shipping is handled by Swiss Post, with delivery within 2 working days following the date of despatch.

For delivery outside of Switzerland:

Shipping is handled by a courier service. Delivery is within 72 working hours following the date of despatch.

Payment

To order titles online, you will need a valid credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Other invoices can be also settled by bank transfers in Swiss Francs as well as by bank drafts in Swiss Francs drawn on a Swiss bank.

Credit card information

No information referring to your credit card is stored in the profile; banking details will have to be entered solely for secure online payment.

Returns Policy

Returns are not permitted for items purchased directly from the World Trade Organization or its online bookshop. Transactions are concluded on a firm sales basis only with no right of return.

Returns are authorized when orders are placed through our worldwide network of Distributors. Please contact them directly for pricing and conditions.

To request return of damaged/incorrect books, please contact our Publications Sales Department.

Cancellations and Claims

To amend or cancel a completed online order, please contact Sales Department via fax or email within one hour following the purchase.

Claims are honoured within 30 days from the date of invoice. All claims must be submitted with your purchase order confirmation number and/or our invoice number by fax or e-mail.

Disputes

The courts of Geneva, Switzerland, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from WTO publications sales.
