CUSTOMS VALUATION:SEMINAR — 6-7 NOVEMBER 2002

Seminar on Technical Assistance on Customs Valuation

In 2001, the Committee on Customs Valuation tasked the Secretariat with organizing a Seminar on “Technical Assistance On Customs Valuation”. The seminar was intended to provide a platform for countries to share their views on how technical assistance can be improved. The seminar allowed countries that had benefited from technical assistance and countries with specific needs to highlight their perspectives. Donor countries and other organizations that provide technical assistance on customs valuation also provided their perspectives. Each of the 4 sessions concluded with a panel discussion.
