The 14th Geneva Week for Non-Resident Members and Observers will be held
at the WTO from 7 to 11 May 2007. Participants will attend a meeting of
the WTO's General Council and will be briefed by the Chairpersons of the
various negotiating groups on the state of play of the Doha Development
Agenda negotiations and other WTO activities. Briefings will be on the
key areas of the negotiations, including agriculture, non-agricultural
market access, services, development, intellectual property rights,
rules and trade facilitation. There will also be briefings on Aid for
Trade and the Enhanced Integrated Framework, the work of the Committee
on Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures, the Trade Policy Review
Mechanism and the WTO's Technical Assistance and Training Plan for 2007.
