Complaint by the United States.
On 6 January 1998, the US requested consultations with the EC regarding similar measures as in WT/DS82 in respect of Ireland. On 9 January 1998, the US requested the establishment of a panel.
Mutually agreed solution
On 6 November 2000, the parties notified the DSB that they had reached a mutually satisfactory solution.
