Consultations

Complaint by the Russian Federation

On 5 July 2019, the Russian Federation requested consultations with the United States regarding anti-dumping measures imposed by the United States on hot-rolled flat-rolled carbon-quality steel products from the Russian Federation.

The Russian Federation claimed that the measures appear to be inconsistent with:

  • Articles 1, 2.1, 2.2, 2.2.1.1, 2.4, 6.8, 6.10, 9.1, 9.2, 9.3, 9.4, 11.1, 11.2, 11.3 and 18.1 of the Anti-Dumping Agreement; and
      
  • Articles VI:1 and VI:2 of the GATT 1994.
