In accordance with paragraph 3 of the Decision of 26 March 1980 (BISD 27S/25) on the Procedures for Modification and Rectification of Schedules of Tariff Concessions taken by the CONTRACTING PARTIES, I have the honour to furnish herewith a certified true copy of the pages containing rectifications to Schedule LXXX - European Communities (in English and in French).

GENERAL AGREEMENT ON TARIFFS AND TRADE

 

CERTIFICATION OF MODIFICATIONS AND RECTIFICATIONS

SCHEDULE LXXX - EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES

 

 

WHEREAS the CONTRACTING PARTIES adopted, on 26 March 1980, a Decision on Procedures for Modification and Rectification of Schedules of Tariff Concessions;

WHEREAS it is desired to rectify typographical errors related to tariff items 2915 70 90, 5807 90 10, 6702 10 00, 6702 90 00 and 8512 90 00 in Schedule LXXX - European Communities, annexed to the Third Geneva (1987) Protocol to the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade;

WHEREAS in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 3 of the above-mentioned Decision, a draft containing the rectifications to Schedule LXXX - European Communities was communicated to all contracting parties in document TAR/170 and was approved on 14 June 1988;

IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that the rectifications to Schedule LXXX - European Communities, are established in conformity with paragraph 5 of the above-mentioned Decision and that the attached loose-leaf pages (in English: 137, 248, 281 and 406; in French: 137, 250, 283 and 409) reflect the authentic text of this Schedule annexed to the General Agreement.

This Certification is deposited with the Director-General to the CONTRACTING PARTIES, who shall promptly furnish a certified true copy to each contracting party to the General Agreement. It shall be registered in accordance with the provisions of Article 102 of the Charter of the United Nations.
