I have the honour to furnish herewith a certified true copy of the Twentieth Procès-Verbal Extending the Declaration on the Provisional Accession of Tunisia to the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade, done at Geneva on 7 November 1988.

I have the honour to inform you that on 23 December 1988 the Government of Japan accepted the above-mentioned Procès-Verbal.

In terms of its paragraph 2 the Procès-Verbal entered into force for Japan and Tunisia on 23 December 1988 (see Notification of Acceptance GLI/221-20, dated 7 December 1988 for Tunisian acceptance).

This notification is furnished in accordance with paragraph 3 of the Procès-Verbal.
