At the Committee's last meeting, it was agreed to hold a meeting in the autumn, at which, inter alia, the Committee would conduct the fifth biennial review of the Agreement.

Since the Secretariat needs to begin preparations for the biennial review before the end of this month, I would like to propose that the autumn meeting be scheduled for 6 November 1989.

If for any reason this date is not satisfactory, delegations are requested to inform the Secretariat (Mr. R. Eglin, tel: 739.51.48) by 14 July 1989. In the absence of any objections, I shall ask the Secretariat to make arrangements for the Committee to meet on that date.
