In accordance with paragraph 3 of the Decision taken by the CONTRACTING PARTIES on 26 March 1980 on the Procedures for Modification and Rectification of Schedules of Tariff Concessions (BISD 27S/25), I have the honour to furnish herewith a certified true copy of the Certification of Modifications and Rectifications relating to Schedule LXIX-Romania, done at Geneva on 20 November 1990.

GENERAL AGREEMENT ON TARIFFS AND TRADE

CERTIFICATION OF MODIFICATIONS AND RECTIFICATIONS

SCHEDULE LXIX-ROMANIA

WHEREAS the CONTRACTING PARTIES adopted, on 26 March 1980, a Decision on Procedures for Modification and Rectification of Schedules of Tariff Concessions and agreed on the introduction of a Loose-Leaf System for the Schedules of Tariff Concessions;

WHEREAS it is desired to establish a consolidated Schedule of Romania in loose-leaf form;

WHEREAS in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 3 of the above-mentioned Decision, a draft containing the consolidated Schedule of tariff concessions of Romania was communicated to all contracting parties in document TAR/136/Rev.1, dated 27 April 1990, and was approved on

27 July 1990;

IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Schedule LXIX-Romania is established in conformity with paragraph 5 of the above-mentioned Decision and that the attached loose-leaves reflect the authentic text of this Schedule as annexed to the General Agreement.

This Certification is deposited with the Director-General to the CONTRACTING PARTIES, who shall promptly furnish a certified true copy to each contracting party to the General agreement. It shall be registered in accordance with the provisions of Article 102 of the Charter of the United Nations.
