PROTOCOL FOR THE ACCESSION OF EL SALVADOR

TO THE GENERAL AGREEMENT ON TARIFFS AND TRADE

DONE AT GENEVA ON 13 DECEMBER 1990

NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE

ENTRY INTO FORCE

I have the honour to inform you that on 22 April 1991 I received from the Government of El Salvador an instrument of ratification of the above-mentioned Protocol, thereby recognizing as fully binding the signature affixed by its plenipotentiary on 13 December 1990.

In terms of its paragraph 6, the Protocol shall enter into force for El Salvador on 22 May 1991 and in terms of paragraph 1, El Salvador shall become a contracting party on that date.

This notification is furnished in accordance with paragraph 9 of the Protocol.
