Group on Environmental Measures and International Trade

Ambassador Ukawa wishes to consult informally with delegations during the course of the week in which the next meeting of the Group on Environmental Measures and International Trade (5-6 October) is to be held, with a view to assisting him to begin drafting the report that he intends to make on his own responsibility on the work of the Group to the CONTRACTING PARTIES Session in December. Delegations are therefore invited to reflect before the Group's next meeting on where the Group has reached in its discussions and what the Chairman might include in his report.
