PROTOCOL FOR THE ACCESSION OF PARAGUAY

TO THE GENERAL AGREEMENT ON TARIFFS AND TRADE

DONE AT GENEVA ON 30 JUNE 1993

NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE

Entry into force

I have the honour to inform you that on 7 December 1993 the Government of Paraguay deposited with me an instrument of ratification of the above-mentioned Protocol, thereby recognizing as fully binding the signature affixed by its plenipotentiary on 1 July 1993.

In terms of its paragraph 6, the Protocol shall enter into force for Paraguay on 6 January 1994, and in terms of paragraph 1, Paraguay shall become a contracting party on that date.

This notification is furnished in accordance with paragraph 9 of the Protocol.
