PROTOCOL FOR THE ACCESSION OF SLOVENIA

TO THE GENERAL AGREEMENT ON TARIFFS AND TRADE

DONE AT GENEVA ON 12 SEPTEMBER 1994

Notification of Acceptance

Entry into Force

I have the honour to inform you that on 27 September 1994 the Government of Slovenia accepted the above-mentioned Protocol, subject to ratification.

I also have the honour to inform you that on 30 September 1994 I received from the Government of Slovenia an instrument of ratification of the above-mentioned Protocol.

Furthermore, I have the honour to inform you that the Protocol was accepted by the following governments on 27 September 1994.

Australia

Canada

Czech Republic

Egypt

France

Hungary

Italy

Poland

Slovak Republic

Sweden

Switzerland

United Kingdom

In terms of its paragraph 6, the Protocol shall enter into force for Slovenia on   30 October 1994 . In terms of paragraph 1, Slovenia shall become a contracting party on that date.

This notification is being made in accordance with paragraph 9 of the Protocol.
