MARRAKESH AGREEMENT ESTABLISHING

DONE AT MARRAKESH ON 15 APRIL 1994

NOTIFICATION OF RATIFICATION

I have the honour to inform you that on 21 November 1994 the Government of Grenada deposited with me an instrument of ratification of the above-mentioned Agreement which it accepted, subject to ratification, on 15 September 1994.

I also have the honour to inform you that I have received instruments of ratification of the above-mentioned Agreement from the following Governments, thereby recognizing as fully binding the signatures affixed by their plenipotentiaries on 15 April 1994:

Myanmar 29 November 1994

Indonesia 2 December 1994

Austria 6 December 1994

The instrument of ratification deposited by Austria was accompanied by the following declaration:

"In view of Austria's forthcoming accession to the European Union the concessions under the WTO-Agreement will enter into force for Austria in parallel with the European Community."

This notification is furnished in accordance with paragraph 3 of Article XIV of the Agreement.
