WTO FORUM

What can be done to help integrate micro, small and medium-sized companies in global trade?

In many countries micro, small and medium-sized enterprises are responsible for the bulk of job creation, economic dynamism and innovation. But most times they do not participate in trade and in the global economy to a level that matches their potential. Carole Kariuki, CEO of the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA), and Kati Suominen, Founder and CEO, Nextrade and TradeUp, talk with WTO's Keith Rockwell about what can be done to support these MSMEs in fully integrating into global trade.

This conversation was recorded on 30 May 2016 at the sidelines of the WTO's first Trade Dialogues with Business.
