The WTO chairs will once again contribute to the Public Forum addressing "Inclusive Trade" from an academic perspective.  Papers and case studies presented by the Chairs will focus on the questions:

• How can trade improve the welfare of the bottom 40 percent and how can implementation of the WTO’s Trade Facilitation Agreement help to reduce poverty?
• How can we mainstream trade into national development strategies and what is the role of the WTO and policy makers in facilitating this process?
• What is the contribution of trade in alleviating rural poverty and gender inequality?
• How can trade help in rebuilding in post conflicts states?
• Is there a role for informal trade in poverty reduction?

The papers and case studies are part of a broader research collaboration between the WTO and the world bank.
