WTO PUBLIC FORUM 2023
Call for proposals
The 2023 Public Forum will explore how trade and the WTO can help create a greener and more sustainable future. Specifically, it will delve into how the services sector, digitalisation and inclusive trade policies can support this objective.
For more detailed information about the theme, please consult the Public Forum webpage: www.wto.org/pf23.
Proposals for Public Forum sessions can only be submitted online using this form. To access the form, you will need an account to log on to the WTO website. If you do not already have an account, please create one here.
The deadline for submission of applications is 23:59 (CET) on 15 June 2023. Any application submitted after this time will not be considered.
- Sessions must be composed of no more than 5 speakers (including the moderator)
- Sessions must be conducted in an official language (English, French or Spanish) of the WTO
- Interpretation in the official WTO languages (English, French and/or Spanish) will only be available if explicitly requested when you submit a proposal

The WTO is responsible for the selection process. To qualify for selection, your organisation needs to complete the online application form by 15 June 2023. Please note that the number of available slots is limited. Selection will be based on creativity, relevance of the topic, and diversity of the panellists.
Access to the myWTO platform is limited to one person per proposal, therefore if a proposal is selected, any changes or additional requested information can only be entered by the individual who initially submitted the proposal.
The selection process will be finalised by mid-July.
The Public Forum will be held in person at the WTO premises in Geneva. Participation costs are not covered by the WTO.
