The purpose of the course is for participants to familiarize themselves with available analytical tools, including the I-TIP services interface, the Services Trade Policy Database, and the World Bank-WTO Services Trade Restrictions Index, to be used when establishing national frameworks for the analysis of services trade policies and for formulating negotiating strategies. The course also seeks to increaseparticipants' autonomy indeveloping services trade policies and mainstreaming services into their trade policy national plans.

The programme will feature experts from the WTO Secretariat and from other international institutions. The course will be held in English. 

Who should apply?

The workshop is aimed at government officials from WTO members and observers eligible to benefit from WTO training activities, with direct policy responsibility or a demonstrated background in trade in services or who have completed a WTO training activity (E-Learning or face-to-face course). Candidates should also have an excellent command of English.

How to apply?

Eligible WTO members and observers are invited to nominate government officials by 25 April 2024.
