Finland's Ambassador, Terhi Hakala, said: “The participation of LDC representatives in the Buenos Aires Ministerial Conference is an important means of ensuring that all WTO members benefit from the multilateral trading system. Finland is very pleased to renew its support for increased participation by LDCs in trade, which will help them raise living standards and achieve economic growth.”

Finland is the first WTO member to donate to the MC11 LDCs Fund this year and has contributed over CHF 13 million to WTO trust funds since 2000.
