Roadmap to 20th anniversary of Aid for Trade initiative

The Aid for Trade initiative was launched in 2005 at the WTO's 5th Ministerial Conference to help developing economies, including least developed countries, tap into the opportunities offered by the multilateral trading system. Over the past 20 years, US$ 730 billion has been invested to help developing economies build strong trade institutions, bolster trade infrastructure and strengthen key export sectors.

The roadmap shown below will support members' journey in support of trade development, culminating in the 20th anniversary of the Aid for Trade initiative in 2026.
