Aid for Trade Global Review 2022
"Empowering Connected Sustainable Development"

Geneva, WTO Headquarters
27 to 30 July 2022

The 2022 Global Review takes place against the backdrop of many simultaneous challenges before the multilateral trading system. In a world facing multiple crises, trade, which has been an unparalleled catalyst for poverty reduction, can be harnessed to support post-COVID-19 recovery and to help in the achievement of the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.

In this context, the Global Review will discuss the role of Aid for Trade in supporting women's economic empowerment, digital connectivity and how environmentally sustainable development can contribute to the desired development outcomes.

Past Global Reviews have been instrumental in helping to galvanize support to address supply-side and trade-related infrastructure obstacles so that developing countries can derive maximum benefit from international trade.
