The 25th Geneva Week for WTO Non-Resident Members and Observers will be held at the WTO from 10 to 14 December 2012. Geneva Week participants will be able to attend a meeting of the General Council and sessions held in connection with the WTO’s Trade Data Day. Participants will benefit from specialized briefings on recent developments in WTO jurisprudence, on rules of origin requirements for LDC duty-free, quota-free market access and the EU’s Economic Partnership Agreements. Other sessions include updates on the status of negotiations on trade facilitation, agriculture, dispute settlement and issues surrounding trade in services. Still other topics for discussion during the week of meetings include trade remedies, state trading enterprises, WTO accessions, the 4th Global Review of Aid for Trade in 2013, TRIPS needs assessment rights and government procurement.
