31st Geneva Week

The 31st Geneva Week for WTO Non-Resident Members and Observers will be held at the WTO from 23 to 27 November 2015. Participants will be briefed on the status of work and way forward on several of the issues being discussed as possible deliverables for MC10 in Nairobi. This will include presentations on agriculture, development, services, TRIPs, trade remedies and fisheries subsidies. Participants will have an opportunity to interact with the Director‑General as well as with the General Council Chairman. Briefings during the week will focus, inter alia, on the work of the Preparatory Committee on Trade Facilitation (PCTF) and on sharing experiences on national TF committees, the iTip services database, logistic preparations for MC10 and recent WTO jurisprudence. Participants will also take part in a round table discussion on Global Value Chains and presentations on the work of the SPS Committee and on procedures for acceptance of WTO legal instruments.
