34th Geneva Week

29 May to 2 June 2017

The 34th Geneva Week for WTO Non-Resident Members and Observers will be held at the WTO from 29 May to 2 June 2017. Participants will benefit from detailed briefings on key aspects of WTO activities such as recent developments in the area of agriculture and services, as well as trade facilitation, electronic commerce and fisheries subsides. Other areas to be covered include research on micro and small and medium-sized enterprises, WTO dispute settlement, Agenda 2030 and preparations for the 6th Global Review on Aid for Trade.

Participants will have an opportunity to interact with the Director‑General. Other briefings during the week will address the current global economic context, preparations for the WTO's 11th Ministerial Conference, the WTO's contribution to the work of the G-20 and detailed presentations on TRIPs-related issues and the I-Tip database on non-tariff measures notifications.
