L'OMC participera activement à la cinquième Conférence des Nations Unies sur les PMA (LDC5), à Doha, pour réfléchir à la manière dont les pays les moins avancés (PMA) peuvent tirer parti des nouvelles opportunités et réaliser pleinement leur potentiel commercial. Le commerce est un pilier essentiel du Programme d'action mondial en faveur des PMA pour la décennie 2022-2031. Depuis de nombreuses années, les Membres de l'OMC ont appuyé l'intégration des PMA dans le commerce mondial dans le cadre des possibilités d'accès aux marchés, des flexibilités dans la mise en œuvre des Accords de l'OMC et de l'assistance technique. La LDC5 permet d'examiner l'évolution du commerce mondial et les défis spécifiques auxquels ces pays sont confrontés.
