SECOND GENEVA (1987) PROTOCOL

TO THE GENERAL AGREEMENT ON TARIFFS AND TRADE

DONE AT GENEVA ON 5 OCTOBER 1987

I have the honour to inform you that the above-mentioned Protocol was accepted by the following Governments on the dates indicated:

Korea 22 December 1987

Canada 23 December 1987

I also have the honour to inform you that on 30 December 1987 the Government of Austria deposited with me an instrument of ratification of the Protocol, thereby recognizing as fully binding the signature affixed by its plenipotentiary on 18 November 1987.

In terms of its paragraph 3(c), the Protocol has entered into force for the above-mentioned Governments on 1 January 1988.

This notification is furnished in accordance with paragraph 4 of the Protocol.
