AGREEMENT ON IMPLEMENTATION OF ARTICLE VI OF THE

GENERAL AGREEMENT ON TARIFFS AND TRADE

DONE AT GENEVA ON 12 APRIL 1979

I have the honour to inform you that on 9 February 1988 the Government of Mexico deposited with me an instrument of ratification, relating to the above-mentioned Agreement, thereby recognizing as fully binding the signature affixed by its plenipotentiary on 24 July 1987 which was accompanied by a communication, reproduced in GLI/275 of 31 July 1987.

In terms of paragraph 4 of its Article 16, the Agreement will enter into force for Mexico on 10 March 1988.

This notification is furnished in accordance with paragraph 12 of Article 16 of the Agreement.
