REFERENCE: 13 June 1989

When the CONTRACTING PARTIES set the dates for the Forty-Fifth Session, this was done "bearing in mind the possibility for the Chairman of the CONTRACTING PARTIES, in consultation with delegations, to fix the dates and the duration of the Session with greater precision in the course of 1989, and even to modify the dates if circumstances made this desirable". Having consulted with delegations in this regard, I wish to inform contracting parties that the Forty-Fifth Session of the CONTRACTING PARTIES will be held in the International Conference Centre, Geneva, on 4-6 December 1989.
