Subject: Informal Meetings Concerning the Agreement on Technical

Barriers to Trade

The following informal meetings will be held to discuss proposals relating to the clarification, improvement and expansion of the Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade:

- proposed provisions on conformity assessment procedures

- proposed amendments to Article 10 of the Agreement

Thursday, 31 May 1990 a.m. and p.m., if necessary

- continuation of the discussion on the synoptic table

The meetings will be held in the Centre William Rappard.

It is reminded that the Committee on Technical Barriers to Trade will begin on Tuesday, 29 May 1990 at 3 p.m. and that the Negotiating Group on MTN Agreements and Arrangements will discuss the Agreement on Technical

Barriers to Trade on Friday, 1 June 1990, at 10 a.m.
