Subject: Uruguay Round Negotiating Group on MTN Agreements and

Arrangements: Meetings of the Informal Group on Anti-Dumping

In the telex dated 3 April 1990 it was announced that the third informal meeting will be held from Monday, 28 May through Wednesday,

30 May 1990. The May meeting would be followed by a meeting from Monday, 18 June through Thursday, 21 June 1990.

The 28 May meeting will begin at 10 a.m. and will be held in the Centre William Rappard. The following agenda is proposed for discussion:

(a) continuation of discussion held at the April meeting on:

(i) circumvention of anti-dumping measures; and

(ii) determination of the existence of material injury caused by dumped imports;

(b) discussion on:

(i) procedures for the initiation and conduct of anti-dumping

investigations;

(ii) anti-dumping measures:

- provisional measures

- definitive anti-dumping duties

- duration of anti-dumping measures, administrative review

and refund procedures;

- undertakings;

(iii) examination of draft texts prepared by the secretariat on:

- publication and explanation of anti-dumping

investigations

- judicial review of anti-dumping determinations

The remaining items in the structured agenda circulated on 19 January 1990 will be discussed if time permits.
