PROTOCOL FOR THE ACCESSION OF TUNISIA

TO THE GENERAL AGREEMENT ON TARIFFS AND TRADE

DONE AT GENEVA ON 12 MARCH 1990

I have the honour to inform you that on 20 July 1990^* I received from the Government of Tunisia an instrument of ratification of the above-mentioned Protocol, thereby recognizing as fully binding the signature affixed by its plenipotentiary on 27 April 1990.

In terms of its paragraph 6, the Protocol shall enter into force for Tunisia on 19 August 1990, and in terms of paragraph 1, Tunisia will become a contracting party on that date.

This notification is furnished in accordance with paragraph 9 of the Protocol.
