It is hereby certified that the modification relating to Annex I to the Agreement on Government Procurement, which is attached hereto, having been notified to the Committee on Government Procurement on 6 December 1991 in document GPR/63 in accordance with sub-paragraph (b) of paragraph 5 of Article IX of the above-mentioned Agreement, has become effective as of 26 June 1992 pursuant to the Decision of the Committee taken at its meeting on 26 June 1992 and contained in document GPR/66.

This communication is furnished in accordance with paragraph 12 of Article IX of the Agreement.

1. The attached list is to replace Annex I to the Agreement, as regards entities covered according to Article I(1c) of the Agreement.

2. It adds 18 entities to the list of 1985, and deletes 23.

5. From the total of 23 deleted entities the procurement of 3 entities was transferred to other GATT-covered entities. Although at least another 9 of the remaining 20 deleted entities did not make any Code-covered procurement 18 new entities are offered for compensation.

6. A number of further entities were subject to a change of name or a change of structure, which has no impact on the procurement of those entities.

7. Subject to reactions of Parties in accordance with Article IX(5b) of the Agreement the appropriate steps will be taken to include the attached list in the relevant Community legislation.
