Communication from Iran
The following communication, dated 14 December 1994, has been received by the Chairman of the Committee, with the request that it be circulated among the Signatories of the Agreement on Trade in Civil Aircraft.

The Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran is interested in obtaining observer status in the Committee on Trade in Civil Aircraft.
The Islamic Republic of Iran seeks this status so that it may be provided with a better position to interact with matters of importance to its foreign trade within the framework of the international trading system.
