El Foro Empresarial en el marco de la CM12
El Foro Empresarial se celebrará el 2 de diciembre en el CICG de Ginebra, coincidiendo con la Duodécima Conferencia Ministerial (CM12) de la OMC. Intervinientes de los sectores público y privado de todo el mundo expondrán sus opiniones sobre algunas de las cuestiones más apremiantes a las que se enfrenta la OMC, con el objetivo de elaborar recomendaciones atinentes al sector privado sobre las prioridades para la Organización. Estas recomendaciones se presentarán al Presidente de la CM12 y a la Directora General de la OMC. El evento está coorganizado por el B20 Italia, la Cámara de Comercio Internacional y la OMC.

Trading in a post COVID-19 world: how digital trade and shifting supply chains will transform trade in the future
At the beginning of the pandemic there was wide speculation that global supply chains could be upended by crisis. Reshoring was much discussed as a way forward. A McKinsey survey in May 2020 indicated that 93% of companies planned to make their supply chains more resilient. But supply chains have proven stubbornly resilient to the impact of COVID-19 with most companies now seeking to diversify their supplies rather than reshoring. Nonetheless, the pandemic and technological advances have changed the supply chain landscape offering opportunities as well as risks for exporters and importers.
