The visit was organized at the request of the VIT at the occasion of their trip to Geneva.  The programme was drafted according to their needs and requests with regard to the functioning of the reference centre established in January 2011

The VIT delegation benefited from indepth presentations of the WTO Reference Centres Programme, the Progressive Learning Strategy, the eLearning courses and the Academic Programme.  Each presentation was followed by questions and answers sessions which permitted the VIT delegation to obtain specific guidance on the functioning and use of their reference centre.

The VIT delegation expressed the wish that the WTO participate to an activity to be organized in Vietnam by the Reference Centre.

After the visit of the WTO Library, the delegation was briefed on WTO documentation and then met with Ms Bridget Chilala, ITTC Director, who concluded the programme of the morning.

The VIT delegation expressed its satisfaction as to the programme of the morning which fully met their expectations.
