Visión para 2015 y Ayuda para el Comercio destinada a la Unión de las Comoras

El 8 de noviembre de 2012 se celebrará una mesa redonda en la que participarán múltiples donantes organizada por el Gobierno de Comoras en la Sala CR1 de la Organización Mundial del Comercio en Ginebra.

The meeting is organized by the Government of Comoros, in association with the Executive Secretariat of the Enhanced Integrated Framework (EIF) Programme and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), with the support of the French Government, EIF Donor Facilitator for Comoros, to raise awareness of its efforts to mobilize additional Aid for Trade resources to support the country’s trade development.

Additional Aid for Trade resources mobilized during the meeting would contribute to the implementation of the Medium Term Plan (MTP) for Trade Integration of the Union of Comoros (2012-2015) presented during the round table meeting. The MTP includes a set of 18 priority reforms to be undertaken within the next three years to increase the country’s capacities to formulate policies, accelerate integration into regional and multilateral trade organizations, sustain private sector development and diversify the country’s export basis. The MTP is supporting the implementation of the country’s Poverty Reduction and Growth Strategy 2010-2014.
