Actividades previstas

Representatives from Members and Observers are invited to login to their WTO account in order to request any national activities. A guide on how to submit a request is available online.

Filling in the national activity request: click on Request national technical assistance in the Menu. Fill in the form and submit it to the WTO. A notification confirming receipt of the request will be sent to the email address associated to the user account and to any other email address identified in the submission.

Keeping track of past submissions: in the menu, open My national requests to see the list of submissions and their status.

Multiple WTO training activities are on offer throughout the year (view catalogue), primarily for Government Officials, but also occasionally for other audiences from developing Members and Observers (e.g. journalists, MPs, academics, civil society, etc.).⁽¹⁾ 

Interested candidates qualifying for a face-to-face activity should apply online. Eligibility to apply is determined based on the list of beneficiary countries available in the activity summary. Each application will be duly considered by a selection committee and candidates notified of the results of their applications by email.

Online Registration: visitors can access the summary page of each activity in the catalogue by clicking on its title. Interested candidates from developing Members and Observers listed as beneficiaries for the activity can their registration by clicking on the Apply button. The registration process will be finalized once the candidate enters and confirms a password in the system, using the link received by email.

Application and nomination Form: Once registered or, in the case of identified users, once logged in, candidates will be prompted to complete the Application form of the selected activity. Except for national events, a Nomination Form will have to be generated, printed and signed by the supervisor (the nominating authority). The signed nomination form, once scanned, should be attached to the application form.

How will I know if my application has been retained? All candidates will receive a notification upon submission of their applications and another notification informing them of the result of the selection process. For retained candidates, a separate notification will also be sent to the permanent mission of their country to validate their participation.

Can I keep track of my applications? Yes, once logged in, you will find the history of your applications, nomination forms and participations under My account.

What if I lose my password? If you forget your password, go to the login page, select "Reset your password" and follow the instructions.

Can I apply for several activities? Yes, you can. Login and select the activity(ies) you are interested in and, if you are qualified, click on Apply.

Important: Interested candidates are invited to verify that their nationality is included in the list of beneficiary countries available in the activity summary. Applications from unlisted nationalities will be blocked.
