Seminario sobre los servicios bancarios móviles

El 27 de noviembre de 2014 se celebró un seminario sobre los servicios bancarios móviles. En el seminario, que organizó el Comité del Comercio de Servicios Financieros de la OMC, representantes de organizaciones internacionales, de Miembros de la OMC y de este sector en particular examinaron la manera en que los servicios bancarios móviles pueden contribuir a que los segmentos más pobres de la sociedad saquen partido de los servicios financieros, favoreciendo así el desarrollo. Durante el seminario también se examinó el papel que pueden desempeñar la política comercial y el AGCS en apoyo de las iniciativas relacionadas con estos servicios.
