DSB agrees to extend period of appeal/adoption of the “sugar” panel report
At its meeting on 13 December 2004, the Dispute Settlement Body agreed to extend the 60—day period for appeal/adoption of the panel report “European Communities — Export Subsidies on Sugar” (WT/DS265/R, WT/DS266/R, WT/DS283/R), at the request of the parties following their procedural agreement (WT/DS265/24, WT/DS266/24, WT/DS283/5).

The panel report was issued on 15 October 2004. According to DSU Article 16.4, the 60—day time-period for appeal/adoption was due to expire on 14 December 2004. At the request of the parties, the DSB agreed to extend the time-period to 31 January 2005.
