DISPUTE SETTLEMENT

MORE:

Mexico did not request to disclose its statements made during the Arbitrator's meeting with the parties to the public. Therefore, the broadcast will not include statements made by Mexico. Additionally, those parts of the United States' statements that disclosed, directly or indirectly, evidence or positions of Mexico have been redacted from the video-recording.

The Arbitrator's meeting with the parties took place on 25-26 October 2016. The public broadcast is being organized at the earliest possible opportunity, taking into account the need to redact parts of the video recording. The broadcast will accordingly be held on 16 December 2016 in Room E in the WTO Headquarters in Geneva. The broadcast of the original (English) version of the video recording will begin at 14h30, to be followed in the same room by the Spanish version at 16h00. Both broadcasts will run approximately 45 minutes.

The number of places in the viewing room reserved for the public will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis upon receipt of a completed registration form. All persons wishing to attend the public viewing must register, including persons already having access to the WTO headquarters.

Completed registration forms should be sent by e-mail only to the following address: [email protected]. Applications will be accepted until 5.00 pm, Geneva time, on Sunday, 11 December 2016. Please note that the names of registered attendees may be communicated to the United States and Mexico, at their request.

Members of the public without access to the WTO headquarters are requested to arrive in good time, as they will need to present a valid photo identification to the WTO Welcome Pavilion and pass through security checks in order to access the premises. Additionally, all attendees will need to present a valid official photo identification outside Room E to access the public viewing.

Please note that any form of audio or video recording is strictly prohibited.

The WTO cannot offer any support, including financial, for accommodation, flight arrangements and visas.
